Architect Day: BCHO Architects

In 1993 the prestigious architect ByoungSoo Korean Cho created the office in Seoul BCHO Architects, a great source of inspiration of pure architecture, full of details and surprises, completely integrated with nature and its urban context, integrating the interior and exterior spaces, creating lit course spaces. <!–break–> © bchoarchitects.com bchoarchitects.com The office BCHO Architects was founded in 1993 in Seoul in Korea by renowned architect ByoungSoo Cho, a professor in several colleges and awarded several times. It has a degree in architecture from Montana State University and receives the master’s in architecture and urban design from Harvard University. Currently the office has a lot of national and international awards and was selected as one of 11 Firms Design Vanguard (Vanguard Design Firms) by Architectural Record in 2004.

DesignChat Guest – Quite Strong

This week DesignChat welcomes the design collective Quite Strong to the conversation. They’re made up of 5 strong-minded women in Chicago who have combined forces to rule the design world. I’m not sure how this conversation is going to go between myself and five freaking guests, but its sure to be a little nuts. There was some talk about doing this game-show style, but who knows.

One Hundred Project

The ONEHUNDRED Project is an experiment from the German Kid Grandios that started back in 2009 with the idea of creating posters that would include landscape and grunge elements. Old to Young Case Study in Photoshop by Cassio Braga

Reading the comments about the Photoshop Battle and I noticed the a lot of people were interested in knowing and seeing the images that were created during the event. Because of that I decided to recreate one of the images I did in my first battle, which was my favorite. This time however I had more time to pay attention to some details, in the event we had only 30 minutes to come up with an idea and make it come true. So as I mentioned before this image, I will present in this case study, was created in my first duel and the subject was water.

Improve Your E-Commerce Design With Brilliant Product Photos

    Product photography could well be the single most important design aspect of any e-commerce website. Without the ability to touch, hold, smell, taste or otherwise handle the products they are interested in, potential customers have only images to interact with. Ultimately, the softer, tastier, flashier and more attractive your products look to shoppers, the more confident they’ll feel about purchasing from you and the better your conversion rate will be. While any product can look great in a photo (sometimes deceptively so), keep in mind that your images should match your website’s overall aesthetic and your company’s image.
